Virgin Mobile Chaser Android with Groove IP

As experiment we purchased the Android Chaser from Virgin Mobile.

We decided not to activate the phone and see if we could make it work with no monthly plan as a WIFI phone without any activation from Virgin Mobile.

We are using Google Voice as our phone carrier and have installed Groove IP on the phone which is a VOIP Android application available in the Google Play Store.

Because we had already set up a google voice account this  phone can receive calls and place calls as long as it is connected to a wifi network.

We went back to Target and then Macy's to test the phone in their stores and all calls were crystal clear.

We will be selling this Virgin phone and other models after they pass our testing in the coming days with GrooveIP already installed.  Our phones will have Facebook, Pandora, Instagram, Gmail and many other applications already installed.

You will just need to establish a Google voice account and get a phone number from them. 

This phone works anywhere there is a wireless connection including your home or office.
