This diecast metal model represents a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle 1303, a type of car that was already a worldwide classic by 1970. In 1974, the German manufacturer of Beetles teamed up with the American brand 3M and released a series of vehicles in glittery shades that included “Zandvoort Streaks” kits to customize each car. For this miniature produced by French company Solido, the glittery shade and customized effect has been duplicated. The 1974 Volkswagen Beetle 1303 Model Collectible is made on a scale of 1:18 and measures 3.95h x 8.27w x 3.15"d. It’s made for collectors and is not intended for children.
